Our Projects

This was such a cool garden. To begin with, as the title suggests, these clients won the garden design package through a local raffle. They then asked us to build the garden for them too. 

Our aim was to create a super natural looking stream and pond garden using all the standard materials you would find in the builders merchants. Not everything of corse, the liner, the pumping and filters, the rocks(which actually came out of our Chelsea gold media winning garden from 2022). But the sandstone patio, the trade decking, the 10mm shingle, we just put it together in a unique way. The top deck steps down from the patio and gives a great view over the whole garden. The lower deck cantilevers over the pond so you can sit on the edge and hang your feet in the water. The stream winds down from pool to pool, really aerating the water and giving a gorgeous sound to the space. We have river birch nestles at the mouth of the stream and multiple jacmonti's. The planting is salvias, rosemary, miscanthus, copper fennel etc. Lots going on. Its a garden full of nature and fun, a stepping stone in the stream for the children to run around, a Big rock circle and fire pit area. Big posts and festive lighting for the evenings.
